Aims & Scope

Materials for energy and sustainability The journal's scope is intentionally broad, covering all aspects of the production of materials or the properties or applications of materials related to energy storage and conversion, sustainability or living. Submissions to the journal should contain chemistry in a materials context and can be theoretical and/or experimental studies. The novelty and advance should be focused on either the chemistry used to produce the materials, or on the properties or applications of the materials produced. Work submitted that is outside of these criteria will not usually be considered for publication. Topics include the following. Artificial photosynthesis Batteries Carbon dioxide conversion Catalysis Fuel cells Gas capture/separation/storage Green materials Hydrogen generation Hydrogen storage Photocatalysis Photovoltaics Self-cleaning materials Self-healing materials Sensors Supercapacitors Sustainable materials Thermoelectrics Water splitting Water treatment
